Over the past year, we’ve made strategic investments to reimagine the patient experience – expanding our services to make the journey to your perfect smile a breeze in a predominately digital world.

As part of this, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re upgrading our phone system to ensure patient communications are seamless, regardless of what modality you choose to get in touch with us.

What to expect during this season of transition?

• Perhaps most importantly, our new system allows patients to send messages and pictures via text at 503.579.2495! This means if you or your child have any kind of orthodontic issue (a pokey wire, broken appliance, rubber band question, etc.), simply snap and send us a selfie, and we can swiftly review your message to determine if an office visit is needed. You no longer have the hassle of trying to explain what you’re seeing over the phone. In fact, text will now be the quickest way to reach us!
• Additionally, we’ve added new phones to the office to expedite the amount of patient calls we’re able to field simultaneously, and ensure we’re getting back to patients in a timely manner. That said, if we happen to miss your call, or it’s after hours, don’t fret! Leave a message or send us a text and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
• In conjunction, our current system for appointment reminders will transition to this new communications portal.
• Finally, we’ll be updating many of our forms to HIPAA-compliant digital forms so we can easily text or email these documents to patients, as needed.

Though change can be scary, it’s an opportunity to build something even stronger and that is our immediate focus. Thank you for your patience with us as we navigate the bumps in the road and potential snafus that are part and parcel of systems upgrades.
